NYFF #5 In the Shadow of Women by Philippe Garrel was quite a let down. But! Garrel was there!
And Agnes Varda was there. And it was the day we learned of Chantal Akerman’s death.
Needless to say, a very somber and moving evening at Alice Tully Hall.
